Happy Halloween

The boys in their halloween outfits. It's usually luck of the draw if they are both looking at the camera and smiling at the same time.

First Tooth

Jackson finally has his first tooth coming through. The boys are 10 1/2 months old today and Parker has 8 teeth, his first one at around 6 1/2 months old. I was wondering if Jackson was ever going to get any teeth. He is always a little behind his brother. I hate to get into the habit of comparing the two. I know they will grow, learn and develop at their own pace. It seems like Jackson is slimming down while Parker is putting on more weight. Could be because Parker has woke up in the middle of the night for the past 2 1/2 months and wants a full bottle, plus one in the morning before I head out the door. Last night he slept through the night. We'll see what tonight brings. Hopefully it is a turning point in whatever was waking him up.

10 Months Old

Today my babies are 10 months old. You are getting so big. You are so perfect, happy babies. You talk and play all the time. Jackson (on the right), you love to rough house with Dad. Parker (on the left) you are a cuddeler and like to be around mom all the time. I love you.

Random Update

I love holidays. I've added a christmas countdown ticker. I'm not quite ready to think about christmas yet, but I have bought a box of really cute candy canes from Sam's club that are decorated with a gift box with edible candy inside. I'll save it for closer to December and give to associates at work.

Tonight I have to go to a business dinner. It'll be one of the few times my husband and I have gone to a nice dinner since the boys were born. Date night. Grandma and Grandpa are babysitting.

Tomorrow the boys will be 10 months old. I'll have to post a couple of pictures. They are pulling themselves up and walking around the furniture. Only bad thing is they have started to climb the stairs to the second floor. They talk all the time (babble) and are eating some table food. I need to start them on a sippy cup and try to wean them off bottles. We'll see how that goes.

100 Days of holiday cookies

I love recipe's of all kinds, Im addicted to collecting them even if I never use them. My mom collects cooks books and I have inherited this need for all kinds of great things to make, bake, cook. I loved to watch the food network before I was pregnant, but kind of lost my desire for cooking/food while I was pregnant and after. Due in part to the post partum depression. I am now finally getting the desire back for things I lost while pregnant, like cooking/baking. I hope you enjoy these recipe's as much as I do.

9 month Update

We had the 9 month check up today. The boys are perfect in every way. Here are their stats:
Parker - 22 lbs, 12oz. and 28.6" tall 75th percentile. Jackson - 21 lbs, 1 oz and 27.6" tall 55th percentile. I'll post pictures later.

Formatting

I'm setting up a new layout. I wanted to change the layout to more of my liking, and hope to update more regularly.

New to Blogging

I created this blog when I was about 6 months pregnant. I was reading different blogs and anything on the internet I could find related to infertility, pregnancy, etc. I was on bedrest, working from home and didn't really have time or the needed interest to maintain this blog. My twin boys are now 7 1/2 months old and I'm getting more energized, motivated and have the desire to do more things, one being this blog. It may be slow going, but I'll add more as time allows. Thanks to all of you other bloggers who have inspired me and helped me through this time in my life.
